Tati and Nathalie's adventure is over

Tati and Nathalie tournament is over cause they lost to Schiavone/Peschke 6-2 6-4; this is pretty amazing cause these two players are also the finalists in the single tournament!Anyway Tati's next tournament will be Stuttgart starting on Monday. Stay tuned for the draws. Go Tati!

For the second time in this season Tati will have the chance to play a semi in doubles. Hopefully this time she will play it and she will reach the final!It would be so good for Tati to win a title even in doubles!Go Tati!
Tati has lost in the first round

Another bad performance by Tati, she lost 7-6(1) 6-3 to Daniela Hantuchova in the first round of the Fortis Championships. The match wasn't tv covered but I followed the encounter point by point and Tati had her opportunities but she failed all the time. I think she needs to find a balance between great tournament and these first round losses. She's still playing in doubles and her encounter is the fourth on Court 1, play starts at 11:00 a.m. local time.

In the first round of the Fortis Championships Tati will face Daniela Hantuchova. Definitely not an easy first round even if in this tournament the competition is very strong. Tati has played with her once before (twice if you consider a match in which Daniela retired before the start) in 2004 in Birmingham and she won 6-0 3-1 ret.. I think that this time will be a totally different story cause 2004 is very far from now and both players are playing better; in any case I hope that Tati will win the match!Go Tati!

Tati's Future

Tati should start to play again on September 25 at the Fortis Championships in Luxembourg. Then her three last tournaments of the season should be Stuttgart, Zurich and Linz. I'm not sure that she will play all these events but I hope so cause if she will play good she will improve her ranking a lot!Go Tati!
Tati is out of US Open

Tati played a great match but she lost to Maria Sharapova 7-6(4) 7-6(0). Tati was able to go 6-5 from 4-5 in the first set but then she missed a couple of set points and she lost in the tie break 7-4. She was fantastic to fight back in the second, but I think she could play better than this. Her service didn't work that well and, maybe, in some points she could be more aggressive. Anyway Tati played a great tournament and I'm really proud of her. She will improve her ranking and hopefully she will keep playing this way. We all expect great things from her now!I've already start to upload the match so stay tuned for it!

Tati is in the quarters!

For the first time in her (young) career Tati has reached the quarter-finals in a Grand Slam event by beating Anna Chakvetadze 6-3 6-2. Tati was incredibly focused and solid and didn't blow this great occasion. Now she will meet the winner of the match between Sharapova and Li, so probably Maria. Tati has played with her three times before and she always lost, the last time this year in Miami when she injuried too. I really hope that Tati will win but if this doesn't happen hopefully it will be a great match!

For the first time in her career Tati reached the fourth round at the US Open by beating Nadia Petrova 7-5 6-7(4) 6-3. What a great fight!After she has been down 2-5 in the first and after she has lost the second 7-6 she won the third 6-3 after saving a lot of break point balls!Now Tati will face Anna Chakvetadze from Russia. She has played with Anna twice before and she won last year in Birmingham but she lost in San Diego. I think it will be a pretty open match but this is a great occasion for Tati to reach the quarter finals!Go Tati!

Tati has reached for the third consecutive year the third round at the US Open by beating Agnieszka Radwanska 6-4 6-3. I did't had the chance to view the match, but watching the live score on the Us Open site I think it was a pretty easy match for Tati. Now there's Nadia Petrova. She's a very good and strong player but she isn't playing so good in the last couple of months and Tati won two times with her when she used to play her best tennis. Tati has a really good chance to reach fourth round, maybe quarter finals. Go Tati!
