Tati News
22nd October 2006
Good news from Tati's stuff: her injury isn't so serious like the one she suffered in Miami so it won't hamper her 2007 preparation. Mark Wellington said that the most important thing for her now is to regain her spirit and that everyone around her will help her with that. Currently our Tati is back in Paris where the examination proved that she suffered a sprain with a bone wrench and she needs to wear a splint for three weeks. She will stay in Paris till the end of the month and at the beginning of November she's going back to Miami to start her training and preparation for the upcoming season as soon as she's ready. And to end with a really good news: the FFT classified Tati the second best French woman player (based on her Oct. 2005 - Oct. 2006 results), just after Amélie Mauresmo. C'mon Tati, get ready for a brilliant 2007 season!(Thanks to Orfeus who gave me all these infos taken by French newspapers!)
Site Update: currently I'm working on a mvid to celebrate Tati and to wish her a fantastic 2007 season, so stay tuned for it!

Right ankle sprain for Tati
18th October 2006
I'm not 100% about this but the reason why Tati was forced to retire it seems to be again connected with her ankle, particularly for a sprain to the right ankle. Hope this sprain isn't so bad like the one in Miami! The only positive thing is that the season is over and she has a couple of months to rest and get ready for the Australian Open. I'm so sad for her cause she's such a talented player but she's so unlucky!Hope that she will decide of not playing in Linz next week and she will end her season here.

Tati forced to retire in Zurich
18th October 2006
Another unlucky tournament for Tati, while she was playing her 2nd round match against Kirilenko she was forced to retire after she was leading 4-2. I still don't know what's happened cause Eurosport wasn't showing the match and the Zurich site doesn't tell anything about this, I really hope it's nothing serious. Poor Tati, I will write something as soon as I will find an article about this :(

Tati crashes Vaidisova and passes to the 2nd Round
17th October 2006
Tati played an unbelievable match and beated Nicole Vaidisova 6-2 6-0 for the first time in her career. Now in the second round she will have to face Maria Kirilenk; she has never played with her but in the last months Kirilenko isn't playing her best tennis for sure and she doesn't seem very solid. Tati has a great occasion to reach the quarters. Currently I'm viewing and uploading the match, so stay tuned for the links!

Zurich draw has been released
14th October 2006
Zurich draw has just been released and I have to say that it sucks!;) In the first round Tati will have to face Nicole Vaidisova, the recent Moscow semifinalist. This should easily be a final! In the three previous encounters Nicole has always won in the third set, apart for the Tokyo final where Tati retired in the second set. I think it will be a very close match but if both will play like they did in these weeks I also think that Tati can win this time. Go Tati!

Tati stuck with no titles
8th October 2006
For the third time Tati has lost in the final of a WTA event and she's still with no titles. Petrova defeated her 6-3 7-6(4). Tati played a really good match but I think that Petrova' serve made the difference today. In the first set Tati was one break up but Nadia broke her back and then she lost 6-3. In the second set it seemed that there were no chances for Tati cause Nadia broke her immediately but our fighter was able to come up 5-4 after having been down 2-4. In the tie-break there were a lot of break points but at 4-4 Nadia called medical timeout cause she stretched her ankle. I think she was very smart move cause then she won 7-4. I'm so sad for Tati but I'm happy cause she played a great tournament and from Monday she will be number 20 in the world. Now her next tournament will Zurich starting on October 16. Go Tati!

Tati is the first finalist!!
7th October 2006
Tati has finally reached her second final of her career by beating Patty Schnyder 6-1 5-7 7-5; Tati played an unbelievable match, she was so solid, strong and patient! She was down a break in the third set but she was able to break immediately back Patty and win the match!I'm so proud of her! Now she's waiting the winner of the other semifinal between Svetlana Kuznetsova and Nadia Petrova, it's gonna be a very tough final! The last final Tati played was the 2005 Tokyo final and she lost to Nicole Vaidisova because she had to retire, hope this will the time for Tati to win her first WTA title (and a Porsche ;-) ).

Tati is the first Stuttgart semifinalist!
6th October 2006
Tati has beaten Michaela Krajicek 6-1 6-2 and she's the first Stuttgart semifinalist. Now she's waiting the winner of the match between Elena Dementieva and Patty Schnyder; I really don't know who's gonna win it but it will tough with both of them cause they're really strong and solid player. Now I'm uploading the today match so check back for it!Go Tati!

Tati has played a really solid match and she has beaten Iveta Benesova 6-4 6-3. Now she is the quarters where she will find the winner of the match between Lisa Raymond and Michaela Krajicek; this is a great occasion for Tati to reach the semis!Hope she will not miss this opportunity!Go Tati!

Tati is in the 2nd Round!
3rd October 2006
Tati has beaten Elena Likhovtseva 4-6 6-0 6-2 and she reached the 2nd round where she will meet the winner of the match between Francesca Schiavone and Iveta Benesova. Tati didn't play good in the first set, but then when she started to make less mistakes she dominated the match and she won 6-0 6-2. I hope she will go on this way remaining very focused. Go Tati!

Stuttgart draw has been released
1st October 2006
Stuttgart draw has just been released and Tati will have a tough first round; infact she will meet Elena Likhovtseva from Russia. Tati has played with her once before back in 2004 in Birmingham and she won 6-3 2-0 ret.. This isn't a real meeting cause Elena's got to retire but hopefully Tati will repeat that win. If she will win in the 2nd round she will have to face Francesca Schiavone, the 7th seed and the Luxembourg finalist. Go Tati!
Here you can view the complete draw.
