Amelia Island draw has been released

Amelia Island draw has just been released and I have to say that Tati's one is pretty good!She's the number eight seed, she has a bye in the first round and in the second she will face the winner of the match between Castano and Vesnina. Then in the third round she can find one of this players: Azarenka, Stosur and Oprandi; in the qf things start to get complicated since she will probably find Venus Williams or Patty Schnyder; anyway previous experiences told us that it's better think round by round :)

Tati's Miami adventure is totally over

I was expecting this loss from Tati and Dinara to the number two seeds but I was hoping for a win or at least for a third set :) Anyway I think that playing in double and winning a couple of matches has been important for Tati, especially to remain positive after her orrible loss to Chakvetadze. Now her next tournament will be Amelia Island starting next Monday!

Tati lost to Anna Chakvetadze in straight sets 6-1 6-3. This is an horrible horrible loss and Tati is gonna lose a lot of points that she gained last year when she reach the semis. I don't know what Tati did, but I guess she has played really really bad; Chakvetadze is a very good and talented player but there's no way that Tati is gonna lose this way if she's playing (at least) normal. Later today she has her double encounter and her next tournament should be Amelia Island starting next week.

Yesterday play was interrupted by the rain so today Tati has to play both singles and doubles match. She will begin with the single match playing the second encounter on court 7 (play starts at 10:00 AM) and she will go on with the double match playing the fourth encounter on court 3. Go Tati!

Tati and Dinara Safina will play today their first round doubles encounter against Clijsters and Maes. Their match is scheduled to be the fourth one on court 2, play starts at 10:00 AM local time. Go Tati and Dinara!

In her second round match Tati has defeated Tatiana Poutchek 6-1 7-6 (10-8). This is a pretty good win even though Tati has complicated her life a lot in the second set. Now in her third round match she's gonna probably have to face Anna Chakvetadze. Tati has played against her three times and she's leading the tie 2-1. Tati won the first meeting in Birmingham in 2005, then she lost the second the same year in San Diego and finally she won the last one last year at the US Open. Tati needs to be very strong since Anna is improved a lot since US Open and she won also a tier one tournament (Moscow) beating a lot of great players. Good luck Tati!

This is their first meeting but watching the ranking of her opponent (she's 111 in the world) I guess that Tati has pretty good chances to reach the third round. Tati's encounter is scheduled to be the third one on court 1, play starts at 10:00 AM local time. Good Luck Tati cause you have a lot of points to defend here!

The Miami draw has just been released and I have to say that it's not a lucky one even though it was probably impossible to have a good draw looking at the player's field :) Anyway Tati has a bye in the first round and in the second she will face the winner of the match between Tulyaganova and a qualifier. Then in the third round things start to get complicated since she will probably have to meet Anna Chakvetadze. If she will survive at this match she will find Jankovic in the fourth round and Clijsters in the quarters...for the entire draw just click here :)

I can't believe that Tati missed another great opportunity like this: tonight she lost to Bammer 6-2 6-3. I know that Bammer has played in an amazing way but losing in two sets is too much!I don't know why when she's in this kind of situation, when she has a great chance against a player who play worste then her, she misses. Now her next tournament will be Miami starting on Monday. Now I'm gonna start to upload the match cause tonight was aired by Eurosport2 :(

Tati is in the quarters since she has beaten Nadia Petrova 6-2 1-0. This is not a 100% real win cause I guess that Nadia was feeling sick since the very beginning but what is important is the result!:) Now Tati is not gonna face Ana Ivanovic, but Sybille Bammer who has beaten her in three set. Tati has played with her once before last year in Gold Coast and she won 6-1 6-3, hope she will not miss this great chance to reach the semis!Today Tati has a day off (finally!) and she will probably play tomorrow! Take a good rest and go Tati!

Tati has greatly beaten Sam Stosur 6-2 6-0 and she reached the fourth round in Indian Wells. Now things start to get complicated cause today Tati's gonna face Nadia Petrova, the number fourth seed of the tournament. Tati has played with her four times before and she lost only one time, last year in the Stuttgart final; Tati has her chances to reach the quarters, I don't know if she's gonna win but I think it will be a very close match. Tati's encounter is scheduled to be today, the last one on court 2 (play starts at 11:00 am). Go Tati!

Tati has brilliantly won her first match in Indian Wells by beating japanese Nakamura 6-0 7-5!Now in the third round she will have to face Samantha Stosur from Australia; she's the 21st seed in this tournament and Tati played against her once before back in 2005 in Sydney and she lost 6-2 4-6 6-2. This is not a good sign but Tati has improved a lot from 2005 and plus now we're not at the beginning of the season!Go Tati!:)

Finally we know the player against Tati will play in her second round match: she's Aiko Nakamura. She's ranked number sixty in the world and she's 23 years old; Tati has never played with her before but I think it's gonna be a pretty easy match (or at least is what I think). We still don't know the schedule of play for tomorrow but I'm pretty sure that Tati's gonna play :)
