Tati is out of Wimbledon

Well it could have been worse: Tati lost to Tamira Paszek 6-2 3-6 6-1 and at least she won a set. I don't expect her to win at all with one week of training after a six week stop, I'm just happy that she came back to play :) Now it's really a shame that Amelie withdrew from doubles, it could be such a good training for Tati!
Now her next event should be FedCup semifinal against Italy in Italy starting July 14, happy training Tati!

Tati's gonna play today the first encounter on court 15 against Paszek (play starts at 11:00 am GMT). Unfortunately court 15 is not televised so there aren't chances to watch her play :( In the meantime Nouf has started to upload the match, here's the first two sets!(Big thanks to him and visit his website: http://www.tennisphotos.org/ )

Apparently Tati and Amelie withdrew from doubles; I'm a little bit disappointed but maybe is better cause Tati is probably really tired and both can focus on single tournament.
Tati survived a battle

Tati survived a real battle to beat Su-Wei Hsieh 5-7 6-3 8-6. I didn't had the chance to view the match cause today court 14 wasn't among the courts showed by italian tv but I guess Tati made a lot of mistakes most of all because she hasn't so much confidence and she needs to play a lot of matches. In any case I'm happy that she passed through this first round and she will be able to fight against the upcoming austrian player Paszek; Tati's day ain't over cause she has yet to play her doubles match with Amelie. I'm happy to say that court 6 is among the courts showed by italian tv so later I will be able to add the match :) Welcome back Tati!

Tati is gonna play tomorrow both in singles and in doubles. Her single encounter is scheduled to be the first one on court 14 (play starts at 12:00 am GMT) and her doubles match with Amelie is the third one on court 6 (play always starts at 12:00 GMT). I hope I will be able to record at least her single match since in these days italian tv has always had full coverage of court 14. Anyway seeing or not seeing you, good luck Tati!

Wimbledon Draw Releasead

Wimbledon draw has just been released and in the first round our Tati will have to face Su-Wei Hsieh, a qualifier. Tati has never played against her before, but I think it's a pretty good first round. Then if Tati will win, she will find Tamira Paszek from Austria; this is a pretty bad second round cause Tamira is a really good player and she's particularly confident right now. In any case it's better don't put too much pressure on Tati, cause it's already great that she's playing again :) Tati will also play her doubles tournament with Amelie Mauresmo. This is good cause Amelie is reat on grass and she can give some "grass advices" to Tati :).
Yesterday night Tati also attended the pre-Wimbledon player party. You can watch some pictures here, Tati looked great!

Finally the seeds for the 2007 Championships has been announced and Tati will start Wimbledon at 17th seed. This is right considering her actual ranking; the draw will be made tomorrow, hope Tati will have a pretty good one considering this will be her first tournament since Charleston! Good Luck, Tati!
Some Good News

So here's the good news: Tati will go to London next week and she's probably gonna play Wimbledon; she didn't play Birmingham and Eastbourne cause she felt that she wasn't ready and she remained in the South of France continuing her preparation. Moreover according to the Wimbledon Commitment List Tati's also gonna play doubles with Amelie Mauresmo; if this is true, this should be such an extraordinary couple :) Have a good rest and get ready for the Championships Tati!
Bad News

Very bad news come from Tati's stuff: apparently she has withdrawn from both Birmingham and Eastbourne tournaments. It's not sure if she will play Wimbledon but without a good preparation I guess it will be more a test than a real tournament. I'm really sad, it seems that these injuries will never end; hope that Tati is in good hands!Get well soon Tati!
