Tati is in the second round!
31st July 2007
Tati has beaten Gisela Dulko 6-1 2-6 6-2 to reach the second round where she will play against Anne Kremer. It has been probably not a great match but at least she fought it back and she won it. Now she will play against Anne Kremer probably on Wednesday. Tati has played against her once before in 2004 in Birmingham and she won 6-4 7-5, I hope I'm not wrong but I think that Kremer is a better opponent than Morigami for Tati!
Today Tati will make her doubles debut with Dinara Safina against Kerber/Osterloh and their encounter is scheduled to be the third one on Court 1 (play starts at 10:00 am local time), good luck Tati and Dinara!

Tati's gonna play tonight
30th July 2007
Tati's first round encounter is scheduled to be the second one "not before the 7:00 pm" on Stadium Court, good luck Tati!

San Diego draw has been released
28th July 2007
Well, San Diego draw has just been released and I have to say that it's a pretty tough one especially for the strong players' field. In the first round Tati will have to play against Gisela Dulko (tie is set 2-2 with Dulko who has won the last meeting last year in Indian Wells) and if she will win she will probably find Akiko Morigami. If she will pass these two very difficult first rounds she will 99% meet Maria Sharapova, good luck Tati you need it :)

Tati is totally out of Stanford
27th July 2007
Tati must have played a terrible match to lose 6-4 6-1 to Sania Mirza and I guess she still needs to play to find her shape and her confidence. Hope next week she will do better in San Diego, good luck Tati!

Tati has passed both first rounds!
25th July 2007
In the single tournament Tati has beaten Viktoriya Kutuzova 6-2 6-2 to reach the second round where she will face Sania Mirza. Tati has played against her twice before, last time in 2006 in Tokyo, and she always won; in any case I think that for Tati it's better Mirza than Morigami. Tati was so good that with her double partner Shuai Peng she was able to reach the second round in doubles tournament too. Now they will face Hsieh/Kudryavtseva, good luck Tati!

Tati is gonna play today both in singles and doubles
24th July 2007
Tati's gonna play her first round match in Stanford today against Viktoriya Kutuzova. Tati has never played against her before but I hope she will reach the second round pretty easily! Her encounter is scheduled to be the third one on Stadium Court, play starts at 11:00 am local time. Later Tati will play also her first doubles round with Shuai Peng against Osterloh and Kops-Jones. This match is scheduled to be the fifth one always on Stadium Court; good luck Tati!

If she will win, in the second she will find the winner of the match between Sania Mirza and Akiko Morigami so a tough second round! The first seed she can meet is the number four seed Patty Schnyder in the third round, good luck Tati!

A new coach for Tati
21st July 2007
This is such a great news, Tati has a new coach who will follow her from Los Angeles till US Open: Mats Wilander. Mats obviously was a tremendous player but in the last years he has also been the coach of Marat Safin. Hope he will help Tati to achieve great results, well done Tati!:)

Tati lost an unbelievable match
15th July 2007
I can't believe what happened, Tati was leading 5-2 in the third set and she lost 7-5. This is a bad loss, she won't forgive this so soon. Schiavone definetely started to play better but Tati seemed so nervous in the end maybe because of the crowd. Now it's 2-2 and it's all about the doubles, Tati might play it with Dechy but I'm not sure...now we will see what Goven will decide. Go Tati!

Tati gives France the 1st Point
14th July 2007
Tati has beaten Tathiana Garbin 6-3 2-6 6-2 to give France the first point of the day. It has been a strange match, very equilibrated. Tati won the first set but then in the second Garbin started to play better while Tati was a little bit relaxed. In the third set Garbin immediately broke Tati but Tati broke her back starting to play better and better. Now it's Mauresmo turn, good luck Amelie!
