Today our Tati is not a teen-ager anymore since she's turning 20!Happy birthday, Tati!
Tati won't play Fed Cup

Tati has not been selected by Georges Goven for Fed Cup first round match against China. Tati has a problem with her back that it seems more serious than what everyone thought according to this decision. I guess we'll have to wait again at least until Friday :-(

Well apparently Tati is injuried again, I still don't know how bady this is but it's connected with her back; Tati will fly back to France to make more exams and then we will know if she will skip the Fed Cup or not. Hope everything will be ok, be strong Tati!

Tati lost to Aravane Rezai 3-6 6-3 3-6 and even this year is an early exit at the Australian Open; I don't know what comes between Tati and this Slam but she don't seem able to play well for a couple of rounds in a row. I'm very disappointed, I was hoping for something more :-( Now her next committment will be FedCup 1st round on January 28th, hope Tati will recover from this loss very soon! Tati has beaten Stephanie Cohen-Aloro 6-1 4-6 6-3 to reach 2nd round at the Australian Open where she will play Aravane Rezai. Unfortunately Eurosport didn't show the match and statistics are no more available on the site so we cannot tell how Tati played; she must have lose some concentration to lose the 2nd set I think. Tati will definitely need to play more focused in the next round cause Rezai is such a solid and powerful player!Tati has never played with her before so she really need to stay concentrated; the match will probably be on Wednesday, good luck and congratulations Tati!

Australian Open Draws Announced

Well Australian Open draw has just been announced and I have to say that it's a pretty tough one! Tati is in the top part of draw (the one with Justine Henin and Maria Sharapova) and in the first round she will have to face Stephanie Cohen-Aloro from France. Tati has nevery played against her before but I think it should be a pretty easy first round; then if she will pass this first test she will find Rezai or Bondarenko in the 2nd round, Bammer in the third and Justine Henin in the quarters: the 2nd round will already be difficult since these are such solid players!I guess we'll have to take round by round and not make predictions...good luck Tati!

Australian Open Seeds Announced

Australian Open seeds has just been announced and Tati is the number 13rd. Women top seed is Justine Henin followed by Svetlana Kuznetsova and Jelena Jankovic. Tomorrow will be announced draws, hope Tati will be lucky!
Tati is out of Medibank International

Tati lost to Jelena Jankovic 6-1 2-6 6-3 and so she's out of Medibank International :-( Watching the statistics it must have been a pretty close match, maybe Jelena did better on her serve: she made five aces and Tati 0 and she had a better 1st and 2nd serve percentage. Too bad that Tati lost but seeing the thing in a positive way she has more time to rest and get ready for the Australian Open! The draw of the Australian Open will be available on Friday, hope it will be good!

Tati won the 1st real match of the year

The match between Tati and Nathalie was cancelled and Nathalie was replaced by Obziler. Tati won the match easily 6-2 6-3. Now the things start to get complicated since in the 2nd round Tati will have to play Jelena Jankovic. Tati has played her three times before and the tie is set to 2-1 for Jelena; last time they met it was last year in Toronto and Jankovic won 5-7 6-3 6-2 but every match they played it was really close. I think that tomorrow Tati has a lot of chances to reach the quarters since Jelena is coming from an injury (Tati has to play against her at the Hopman Cup but Jelena retired after only one game) and maybe she's not able to run all over the court like she normally does ;-) ...good luck Tati!

So Tati's gonna play her first round match tomorrow against Nathalie Dechy on court 3 after two ATP matches (play starts at 11:00 am local time). Tati has played against Nathalie only once before back in 2005 at the US Open and she lost 7-5 2-6 6-2. Today I think it will be a different story cause Tati has improved a lot and Nathalie is playing worst; in any case it's gonna be a tough match since the two are friends and sometimes they also have played doubles together :-) good luck Tati!

Sydney draw has just been released and in the first round Tati will have to play a qualifier; Tati is unseeded and she's in the bottom part of the draw: the first seed she can meet is Jelena Jankovic in the second round. France is out of the Hopman Cup

Even if today France has beaten Chinese Taipei 3-0, Serbia won against Argentina and so the final will be Serbia-USA. I'm very happy about Tati's performance at this year Hopman Cup, she won basically every match she played (too bad for the Jankovic match) ;-)

France lost to Serbia and so they probably won't go to the final :-( Tati won her match since Jelena retired when Tati was leading 1-0, 30-0 then Arnaud lost his match to Novak and in the doubles match Tati and Arnaud lost 5-7 6-4 7-6(10/4). I read that Arnaud didn't play that well while Tati played pretty good. Now the last encounter will be tomorrow against Chinese Taipei, here's the full order of play:
