Tati is out of the Australian Open
19th January 2007
Tati has lost to Peer 3-6 7-5 7-5 and she's totally out of this first Grand Slam. She really has to blame herself for this; she was leading 6-3 3-0 and then she served for the match on 5-4 in the third and she also had two match points and she lost; she needs to improve the mental side of the game, maybe she needs a fulltime coach. Now her next tournament will be Paris starting on February 5 even if I really hope that she will also go to Tokjo.

Tati has passed through another round
17th January 2007
Tati has beaten Zuzana Ondraskova 6-2 6-0 to reach the third round of the Australian Open! Now she will have to face a very tough third round, infact she will meet Shahar Peer; Tati has never played with her. I don't know if Tati will win, but I think that it's gonna be a great match and that Tati is totally capable to beat her. Hopefully tomorrow her double match will finish soon cause it's the last encounter on court 6 after the French derby between Santoro and Clement (and I think it's gonna be a long thing :) ). Go Tati!
I'm sorry for the previous mistake, if she will win Tati will probably play against Kuznetsova in the fourth round, now her currently opponent is Peer.

Tati is in the 2nd round!
15th January 2007
Tati has beaten Anna Smashnova 6-3 6-1 to reach Australian Open 2nd round!I'm happy to see that she has easily beaten an "easy" opponent without creating any problems to herself. Now in the 2nd round she will have to face Zuzana Ondraskova; they never played against each other before, but I think this should be another easy round. Eurosport didn't show the whole match cause they were obviously showing Roger Federer encounter but they showed the last games, later I'm gonna upload them!Go Tati!

Tati will play tomorrow/tonight :)
14th January 2007
Tati is scheduled to play tomorrow the second match on court 3, play starts at 11 a.m. local time. It's a covered court but I don't think that Eurosport will transmit the match since Roger Federer plays at the same time :(. I'm so excited with this new season to begin, go Tati!

Australian Open main draw announced
12th January 2007
Australian Open single draw has just been announced and I have to say that it's a pretty good one. Tati is the 20th seed and in the first round she will meet Anna Smashnova. I think that this it's a pretty good first round and Tati has to win it. In the second and in the third she will probably has to face Fernandez/Ondraskova and Peer. In the fourth round she will probably find Svetlana Kuznetsova and in the quarters Petrova or Jankovic. I think that Tati has a great chance to reach the fourth round and maybe the quarters and she doesn't have to miss this great opportunity. Go Tati!

Tati lost to Amelie
9th January 2007
Tati has played an ubelievable match but she lost to Amelie Mauresmo 6-7(4) 7-5 6-1. She has to be proud of the way she played because this proves that she can compete with the top players in the world, she misses that certain something to not give up in the third sets. Later I'm gonna upload the match, it's gonna be long because it was a marathon!

Tati is in the 2nd round
8th January 2007
Tati has beaten Shuai Peng 6-4 7-5 and tomorrow she will play her 2nd round match against Amelie Mauresmo. They played against each other only once before last year in Paris and Tati lost 6-7(5) 7-5 6-2 but we all know how well she used to play. Tomorrow she needs to reach again that level of game and hope that Amelie will not be at her best since it will be the first match of her season. In any case we will have the chance to view it cause tomorrow will broadcast the match, so stay tuned for it! Go Tati!

Tati is scheduled to play tomorrow
7th January 2007
Tati is scheduled to play tomorrow the first match on court 2 (play starts at 11 a.m. local time). Her opponent will be Shuai Peng from China and she's gonna be a tough one cause Tati has played against her two times and lost both. The good news is that their last encounter was in 2005 in Strasbourg and Tati has come a long way since that!I think she can definetely reach the 2nd round and fight against Amelie!Go Tati!

Sydney draw released
6th January 2007
Sydney draw has just been released and in the first round Tati will meet a Qualifier which is still unknown who she is. Unfortunately in the second round she will immediately find the first seed, Amelie Mauresmo. She's definetely in the worst part of the draw!Hope Tati will able to beat her and take her place as number 1 seed, go Tati!
Click here if you want to see the entire draw.
Site Update: Here you can download the highlights of the match played by Tati against Ashley Harkleroad and here you can download the highlights of the match against Nadia Petrova. Thank u so much to Nicolas for these!

France is out of the Hopman Cup
4th January 2007
With a 3-0 lost to Russia France is out of the Hopman Cup. That's very sad but I must say that the Russians should have played very good. After an equilibrated first set, Tati gave up in the second to lose 6-0. Maybe she was just tired cause this is her first week and she arrived only saturday in Perth and then Nadia was playing very good. After her loss Haehnel lost to Tursunov and then both in the mixed double were not able to defy the Russian team. Anyway, in the end, I have to say that it has been quite a good week for Tati, now we're gonna see how she will play in a real tournament next week in Sydney, go Tati!

Another great win for Tati
2nd January 2007
Tati has gained another great win by beating Alicia Molik, who has previously beaten Nadia Petrova, 7-5 6-2. This is a such a perfect way to start the year! Now we all hope that Haehnel will beat Philippoussis so the France team will play the double match without any pressure!:)
