Tatiana plays on Monday

I just saw the schedule of play for the first day of the Australian Open and Tati's encounter is the first one on court 18 (plays starts on 11:00 a.m. local time). I really hope that I can see it on TV and record it (i live in Italy and Tati's opponent is italian), but if I don't go Tati!
Australian Open Draw released

Australian Open draw has just been released and I have to say that is a very tough one. Tati is in the top of the draw where is the first seed of the tournament and of the ranking, Lindsay Davenport. In the first round Tati will play against Mara Santangelo from Italy who played really good in Australia a couple of years ago. Tati has never played with her before, but I think it's gonna be an impegnative match. If she will win she will play against the winner of the match between Srebotnik and Foretz and then, probably, with Lindsay Davenport. It's gonna be very hard for Tati..anyway I hope she will do her best. Go Tati!

Hingis retired from doubles semi-finals

Martina has to retire from the doubles semis due to a hip injury; this is so sad :( I really hope that it's all ok and that she will compete next week and most of all at the Australian Open. Next tournament for Tati is Australian Open starting on January 16th.
Tati is out of Gold Coast

Unfortunately Tati has lost to Flavia Pennetta 6-2 5-7 6-3 and she couldn't repeat last year semi-final. On the contrary she reached the doubles semi-final with Martina Hingis. Tomorrow they will face the number one seeds Black/Stubbs. Go Tati!
Tati is in the quarter-finals

Tati has beaten Sybille Bammer 6-1 6-3 and so she has reached the quarter-finals; now she will play against Flavia Pennetta from Italy who is the 4th seed. Tati has played with her once before last year in Gold Coast and she won 6-7(5) 6-2 6-4, I really hope that she will repeat that score!Her match is tomorrow and it's the third on centre court, later on the same court she will play her double match with Martina.

Tatiana and Martina won their first double match together by beatin Li/Sun 6-1 6-4! This is such a great result especially if you consider that Tati has a negative score in doubles. Tomorrow she will play her single match against Bammer not before 18:30 hr on centre court.

Tati won her first match of the year by beating Nicole Pratt of Australia 7-5 6-2. This is really a good news!Now in the second round she will face Sybille Bammer of Austria. Tati has never played with her before, but considering the difference of ranking this should be another easy match for Tati. Go Tati!
