Tati&Bob are in the 2nd round

Tati and Bob Bryan have beaten Morariu and Delic 7-6(2) 6-4 to reach the second round where they will play Nestor/Likhovtseva, the 7th seeds, or Mirza/Bhupathi. I'm happy for this win cause maybe will give Tati back a little bit of confidence. I think that they will the next match probably on Saturday, go Tati & Bob!
Mixed Doubles draw + Order of Play

As Tati announced in a Tatiana's World episode she will play mixed doubles tournament with Bob Bryan: this such a smart partner's choice by Tati!Obviously you all know how great Bryan brothers are in double :) The new couple will play the 1st round match tomorrow against Morariu/Delic and their encounter is scheduled to be the last one on Grandstand (play starts at 11:00 am local time), try at least to win this Tati!

I woke up this morning I couldn't believe what I saw at the Eurosport News: Tati lost to Ahsha Rolle 6-4 1-6 6-2. I seriously thought that Tati would have won this match at 100%. She definitely must have played one of her worst match ever. Now she will lose a lot of positions cause she was defending last year's quartefinals. I don't know what to say, I'm petrified. So here I am again, I didn't had the time to arrive home that the US Open draw has been released and it's not a good one. Tati is the 17th seed and in the first round she will play Ahsha Rolle from United States. If she will she will face the winner of the match between Chan and Knapp and then probably Dinara Safina. The first big obstacle comes from 4th round where Tati will 100% find Justine Henin :( Here you can take a look at the entire draw, hope Tati will at least reach the 4th round cause I think it's will be hard defend last year's quarter-finals :(

I just want to tell you all that from tomorrow to wednesday afternoon there will be no site update due to the fact that I'm going to London watching Orlando Bloom performing "In Celebration" ;) This won't affect the site too much (except for the ranking update) cause next week Tati will not playing in New Haven to concentrate herself on the US Open preparation.
Since I'm leaving this evening I didn't had time to upload the entire semifinal match all by myself so I used nouf links since the middle of the second set to the end of the match, big thanks to him and talk to u soon ;)

Tati lost to Jelena Jankovic 5-7 6-3 6-2 but I'm happy for the way she played this match and for the way she played this tournament, it's a great thing for the upcoming US Open!Tati needs obviously to improve her serve and her net game but I can see a lot of new confidence and strength (Tati was down 2-5 in the 1st Set) :) I won't tell you more cause I'm starting uploading the match right now, you judge :)

Tati's match against Jelena Jankovic is scheduled to be the first one of the evening session starting at 1:00 pm local time on Stadium. Tati and Jelena have met two times before: the first time in 2004 in Miami won Tati in three sets and the second time in 2005 in Seoul won Jankovic always in three sets. I don't think that these previous meetings can be pretty significant now cause Jankovic especially is a totally different player from 2005. Hope that at least we'll have a good fight...good luck Tati!

Well, it has been definetely a strange match won by Tati 2-6 7-5 6-1. In the first set Tati had a lot of break points (I think 9), but she has never been able to catch the chance to break Svetlana so she lost the set. The second began with a bunch of unforced mistakes and with 8 consecutive breaks; when Svetlana maintained the serve to lead 5-4 I was convinced that it was the end but Tati was able to win the set 7-5. The third set started again with three consecutive breaks but then Tati going 3-1 basically closed the match. I have to say that it has been an awful match with too many errors but Tati has been very good to win it, definetely it wasn't easy. Now tomorrow in the semis she will play the winner of the match between Virginie Razzano and Jelena Jankovic and if it will be Jelena I guess that Tati will play a lot more better than this :=), in any case well done Tati!

Tati played such a great match by beating Francesca Schiavone 6-2 6-0 and reaching the quarters where she will play the winner of the match between Meghann Shaughnessy and Svetlana Kuznetsova (so probably Svetlana). I'm so happy for this result, according to me it was really important for Tati to take a little revenge over that awful fed cup match. Now good luck Tati!

Tati has beaten Dominika Cibulkova 6-4 6-3 to reach Toronto's third round where she will play Francesca Schiavone. Schiavone leads the tie 2-1 and we all remember how the last encounter ended a couple of weeks ago during the Fed Cup semifinals week-end. Schiavone has improved a lot since that meeting, winning her first WTA title and beating Elena Dementieva today. I think it's gonna be really hard for Tati and Schiavone is such a consistent player!At least this time the audience will cheer for Tati, so that's not gonna be a problem :) The encounter will take place tomorrow, but the schedule of play is still unknown...good luck Tati!

Tati has just beaten Julia Vakulenko to reach Toronto second round where she will play Dominika Cibulkova, a qualifier. Tati has played against her once before this year in Charleston and she won 6-4 6-1; it was obviously the Tati before the injury but I hope she will easily reach the third round, good luck Tati!

Toronto draw has just been released and in the first round Tati will play Julia Vakulenko from Ukraine, I think that this should be a pretty easy first round; if she will win, she will find the winner of the match between two qualifier/lucky loser. Things start to get difficult in the third round cause Tati will probably find one of these players: Dementieva/Schiavone/Paszek. It's not a really bad draw but Tati needs to play good and stay focused, go Tati!

Tati forced to quit again due to an injury

Yesterday night Tati after losing the 1st set 7-5 to Tamarine Tanasugarn was forced to quit due to a sore right hamstring. In a post-match interview Tati said that probably she shouldn't have played from the very beginning because she started feeling this pain after the match against Maria Sharapova in San Diego and she probably over-played considering that she played like six matches in three days. Tati thinks that it's a different injury and she hopes she will be ready to play in Toronto cause she needs a lot of preparation before the US Open and she was feeling she is playing better and better.
I'm so sad for this, hope won't mean a new stop for Tati but I guess that we have only to wait and see how it goes; c'm on Tati!

Los Angeles draw has finally been released and in the first round Tati will play Tamarine Tanasugarn: Tati has never played with her before but I think it's a pretty good first round. If she will win, she will find the winner of the match between Gisela Dulko and a qualifier/ lucky loser. The first seed Tati can meet is the recent Wimbledon runner-up Marion Bartoli in the third round; in the end I think it's not a really bad draw and Tati can do great things with the support of Mats Wilander, good luck Tati!

Two bad loss for Tati

Tati has lost to Maria Sharapova 6-0 6-3, this is really bad cause it means that Tati is still far away from her normal condition. There isn't a lot to say cause the score speaks for itself and plus I haven't see the match :) In addition Tati and Dina lost even in doubles 6-2 6-4 to Azarenka/Chakvetadze, this is has been a really bad day for Tati!
Now her next tournament will be Los Angeles starting next week, rest and train for it Tati!

Tati won another difficult match to reach the third round where at 99,9 % there will be the match against Maria Sharapova. Tati played four times before against Maria and she always lost even if all the matches were very close. Maria is not at the top of her condition but I guess that Tati needs to improve her game if she wants to win this time.
In the next hours Tati is gonna play also her doubles match with Dina, good luck girls!
