Tati is in the second round at the US Open!
31 August 2006
Tati has passed through a insidious first round by beating Ashley Harkleroad 6-3 7-5.
After winning the first set Tati was down in the second 2-5 but then she won five games
to reach the second round where she will meet the winner of the match between Yan and
Radwanska. Go Tati!

Tati has missed another great opportunity
22nd August 2006
Tati has missed another great opportunity when she lost to Svetlana Kuznetsova 6-0 2-6 6-4.
She may have lost the 1st set but she was winning 6-2 3-0 with a double break. She needs to learn
to take advantage of this situation, she needs to learn how to close a match. She definetely
needs a coach to do this. Hopefully at the US Open Tati will do better. Go Tati, all your fans
are supporting you!
Site Update
21st August 2006
With the US Open starting next week I thought it would be nice posting an old Tati match from
the 2004 US Open. It's the third round match against Serena Williams. It was a great match
cause Tati played so good against such a solid tennis player. Enjoy it!

Tati finally won a match!
20th August 2006
Tati has finally passed a first round by beating Alicia Molik 4-6 7-6(3) 6-3. It was a
great match for Tati cause she won after having lost the first set for 6-4 with a break in the
first set. After the tie break of the second set she was very good to remain focused and
to win the third set. Now in the second round she will face the winner of the match between
Svetlana Kuznetsova and a qualifier. Go Tati, hopefully this match will give you a lot of
confidence!
New Haven draw releasead
18th August 2006
New Haven draw has just been released and in the first round Tati will face Alicia Molik
from Australia. Watching the draw it's definetely a pretty good first round considering
that Alicia is recovering from a long injury. Tati has played against her once before
in 2004 at the Luxembourg tournament and she lost 3-6 6-4 6-4. It was a different time
and a different Molik (in that occasion Alicia also won the tournament and Tati was the only one to
reach the third set against her)and I think that this time Tati has a lot of chances to reach the
second round. Unfortunately if Tati will beat Molik she will probably find Svetlana Kuznetsova,
a very strong opponent!Hopefully Svetlana will at least reach the final this week in Montreal and
will arrive in New Haven very tired ;) Go Tati!
Here you can watch the entire draw
Tati has lost again to Ivanovic
15th August 2006
Tati played an awful match and lost for the fifth time to Ana Ivanovic 6-4 6-2. Ivanovic
made also a lot of mistakes and Tati instead of keeping the ball on the court was trying to
hit the ball harder than Ivanovic in order to make the point before her. Now she's gonna play double match
with Pellettier again against Ivanovic/Kirilenko. I don't think that they have any chances to
win this match. Next week Tati should play New Haven, hopefully she's gonna win a couple of
match before US Open.
I'm uploading the match for those who hadn't had the chance to view it. Stay tuned for the rest!

Tati to face Ivanovic instead of Safina
13rd August 2006
Since Sharapova withdraw from Montreal Tati will now have to face Ivanovic instead of Safina.
This is a really bad news cause even if Ivanovic isn't playing her best tennis Tati used to
play really really bad against her. Infact she lost four of the four previous meetings :-(
The last one was last year in Linz and Tati lost 7-5 6-3; hopefully this time will be able to
beat her, this would give a lot of confidence to Tati. Go Tati!
Site Update: I've added a lot of pics of Tati training in Montreal. You can
watch them
here.
Totally credit goes to
Jean-Sébastien Marceau.
Montreal draw released
12th August 2006
Montreal draw has just been released and in the first round Tati will face Dinara Safina
from Russia. She's definetely a difficult opponent but I think Tati has been lucky cause she's
unseeded and Dinara is not the toughest seed in this draw. Moreover Tati leads the tie 3-1 and won
the last meeting in Antwerp 6-4 6-7(10) 6-3. If she will she will probably
meet Jie Zheng in the second round and Francesca Schiavone or Jelena Jankovic in the third.
Go Tati!
Tati withdraw from Los Angeles
6th August 2006
Tati has apparently withdraw from the upcoming Los Angeles tournament. I don't know if it's
because of an injury of it's because she was only tired. Hopefully it will be for the
second reason. Now her next tournament will be Canadian Open (Montreal )starting on August 14. Go Tati
and use this time to train and relax yourself!
Site Update: Since a lot of people keep me asking if I have other videos of other players
I've decided to add a special section in the video page dedicated to other players. You can
check it out
here, first match I've added it's the yesterday semi-final between Kim Clijsters
and Nicole Vaidisova in San Diego. Stay tuned for more!
Tati is out of the Acura Classic
1st August 2006
In the first round of San Diego Tati has lost to Amy Frazier 6-3 7-6(7). She has had a lot
of opportunities to stay in the match but she didn't take advantage of them. Maybe she
was a little bit tired from Stanford. Now her next tournament is Los Angeles starting next week,
but officially she should play her double match in San Diego tomorrow. I don't know if she's gonna
withdraw, I really hope cause she needs some rest. We will see tomorrow, go Tati!
